July 11, 2010

• Bug: status: repaired. When creating a new profile and then choosing to cancel, the program was not returning properly. fixed.
• Change: In the Personality Profiles, a change has been made in the next to the last heading. Old reading: NEED FOR POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENT this was a bit unclear, and not the most expressive grammar. This title has been changed to RECOMMENDED IMPROVEMENTS.
• MinistryStylesUpdate.mdb will update your databases when they are loaded.

• Bug: status: repaired. When creating a new profile and then choosing to cancel, the program was not returning properly. fixed.
• Bug: status: repaired. One graphic on the title sheet was printing twice rather than selecting the proper graphic. This was only a factor after a client would choose to use their own logo, then resetting back to the default image. This image was resetting to the wrong graphic.
• MinistryStyles Address information has been updated.

• A problem loading the Database Analysis Report has been fixed
• Difficulty found making a new profile from within MinistryStyles. This was not reported since most new profiles are generated through the remote user program.
• The print function for layered Portraits is now channeled through the printer setup dialog, allowing you to redirect the report to a different printer (or print driver for Fax and PDF files)

May 18, 2010 This is worth reading! The latest update of MinistryStyles implements the default program associations for you. We have avoided this in the past, because the default Windows environment hides the extensions on known file types, that is, the extension *.tba will still be there, but for most people it will not be visible. Instead, those who have a licensed copy of MinistryStyles installed will see tba files with the same icon as the program itself. Be careful! Do not attempt to send the MinistryStyles.exe or MinistryStyles.mdb through the email! Outlook treats these as hostile, because they could house threats to your system. (They don't, but they could).

By having this file association, you can click on a tba file to automatically import it to the database. How cool is that! We're just getting started.

February 12, 2009  Two new big changes on the initial screen: Notice that you can now easily move data from one database to another without importing and exporting. This utility sends them to the new database in the same form as they exist in the current database: if partially completed, they are still partially completed.

Also in this release, there is now a complete analysis available on screen, and can then be printed. This will be updated further in the days to come.
